The goal of the CFD Society of Canada is to promote computational fluid dynamics and to provide a framework for communication and collaboration between researchers, developers and practitioners, in industry, government and academia. The annual conferences draw together researchers in CFD to highlight recent advances and challenges encountered in a broad spectrum of application areas and to facilitate scientific and technical exchange.
Paper submissions are encouraged in all topics of current interest in the field of CFD. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following:
|
Compressible flows Incompressible flows Multi-phase and free surface flows Reacting flows and combustion Flows in porous media Environmental and biological flows RANS turbulence modelling Large-eddy simulation (LES) Hybrid RANS/LES methods Direct numerical simulation (DNS) Laminar-turbulent transition Aero-elasticity and aero-acoustics |
Multi-disciplinary analysis Multi-disciplinary optimization High-order methods Iterative methods Multigrid Mesh generation Mesh adaptation and refinement Unstructured and meshless methods Error estimation and control Preconditioning techniques Time-accurate algorithms Parallel algorithms |
Conference Proceedings and
International Journal of Computational Fluid Dynamics (IJCFD):
All extended abstracts will be peer reviewed. An electronic version of the conference proceedings will be produced for distribution to authors
and conference attendees and exceptional accepted papers will be
for considered for inclusion in a special edition of the IJCFD.
